During our last inquiry cycle we really “explore and discover” different fields, knowledge, people and places. At the beginning we thought we had to assume the role of explorers, but suddenly we started discovering in fact that every single day we are explorers and we surf and discover new things, new people and new places. One of the best experiences that lead us into great enduring understanding was the GIMNORTE´S EXPEDITION which occurred just after we learnt about the best explorer in our country: José Celestino Mutis, who was not Colombian but who loved a lot our country and who took the risk of exploring our flora, fauna and people and who let everybody knew how rich we were. |
